Remembrance Day Parade

Hello all  just a reminder that on Saturday November the 5th the clocks go back 1 hour . On  Sunday November 6th 2016 we have a Remembrance Day Parade at Branch 350 in Port Dalhousie. Please be at Branch 350 by 945 am and remember IT IS MANDATORY that all cadets show up for this parade . Please bring full dress and bring your  parka and gloves with you.  You can't put it on if you don't have it with you .

IT'S POPPY TIME AGAIN

Hello all it's poppy time once again .  We are looking for at least 10 cadets for branch 24 and at least 10 cadets for branch 350 . Remember the more help we get the better it is for all  . Hope to see everyone there .  Saturday October 29th 
                Times are from 830 AM to 1700  (500 PM ) .

Branch 24 is at there  NEW  location at  15 George st use the side door and go downstairs  

Branch 350 is at 57 Lakeport  road across from Tim Hortons in Port Dalhousie

Hello all if anyone needs parts for their  uniform Mr. Mutch will be in supply on Oct 13th but he will NOT be in on Monday Oct 17th .   So if you need a uniform or just parts please come to supply on Thursday night so you can get them .  Thanks All.

FTX is still on for this weekend

Hello all just a friendly reminder the this weekend is still on for the FTX . Don't  forget to pack warm clothing and  rain boots  you will need them it will be muddy . See everyone friday night at camp wetaskiwin at  1800 hours  (600 PM)  

  DIRECTIONS TO CAMP WETASKIWIN, ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO

FROM ST.CATHARINES (PEN CENTRE)

-  Travel WEST on Glendale Ave. until it ends at Pelham Rd.
- Turn left on Pelham Rd. turning left at the stop lights at the Fire Hall
- Follow Pelham Rd. – passing Vansickle Rd. and First St.
- Continue on Pelham Rd. to an "S-curve ".
- As you come out of the S-curve turn left on the Scout Camp Rd

– (watch for the Camp Wetaskiwin sign it's not very big).

Welcome Back Cadets

Welcome back to all the cadets that were at summer camps . Hope everyone had a great time at there camps and made many new friends and seen many old ones too . Just letting everyone know we start our new year of training on September 12 at 630 PM . Don't forget the welcome back BBQ is on Thursday Sept 8 at 630 pm

Hope everyone is having a great and a safe summer . Just letting everyone know the welcome back  BBQ and administration night  is on Thursday Sept 8th at 630 PM   .Hope to see everyone there  stay cool and play safe .

Tree Top Trekking & Zip Lining Sunday June 12

This is a reminder for ALL cadets that have signed up for zip lining this Sunday June 12.


Cadets are to be at the Optimist Hall NLT 0845 with their HEALTHCARD. Cadets are to also bring signed permission form from Tree Top Trekking. If you have signed up and do not have a form Mr. Setford will have extras for your parents to fill out on Sunday.

Cadets are reminded to bring a bag lunch for the day. Dinner will be provided on the way home.
Cadets are also reminded to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, remember you are representing 23 Squadron.

SSC Sleepover

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee will be holding a sleepover and movie night. All cadets are invited to come out on Friday April 15/16 at 7pm until Saturday April 16/16 at 10 am.
As with all cadet activities you must be in possession of your health card.

SSC Sleepover and Movie Night

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee will be holding a sleep over and movie night on Friday Feb 26 from 1830 hrs until 1000 hrs on Sat Feb 27.
As all activities your health card is required.

SSC Trivia Night

SSC Trivia Night will take place on Sat. Feb. 27 at 7:30 pm in Optimist Hall. Tickets are $15. To purchase tickets please contact Mr Setford, or any member of the SSC. Come out and help support the squadron with an evening of fun and prizes!!!

SSC Bowl-a-thon

The SSC is holding a squadron Bowl-A-Thon Saturday January 23. The event will take place at the Merritton Community Centre from 1400-1600 hrs (2-4) As with all activities cadets will need their Health Card

Range Day

This Sunday there is a mandatory range day for the entire squadron. This day will cover all of the range training that is to happen within the program.
Timings are as follows:

07:45-1600 at the cadet hall. Lunch will be provided.
